Managing a Live Event brings the thrill of opening night to the commercial world. A live event might be a new product unveiling or a high profile awards ceremony. I’ve had wonderful experiences working these types of jobs. From meeting tennis star, and model, Anna Kornikova to hanging out with star football players to meeting political big wigs, I’m reminded of some of the perks of working in this business. Most often, you only get one chance at the “grand opening”. The only way to alleviate the anxiety is to be thoroughly prepared and rehearsed. Knowing with full confidence that the show will work, is the only way to get a good nights sleep before the event.
